Nejc Marčič is a top Slovenian alpinist, mountain guide and Karpos brand ambassador. He is known for his alpine approach, dedication and respect for the mountains. Among his greatest achievements is the first ascent of the north face of K7 West in the Karakorum with Luka Stražar, for which they received the Golden Ice Axe (Piolet d’Or).

Nejc remains an active participant in demanding mountaineering expeditions, striving for a pure, aesthetic and independent style of climbing. With his calmness and professionalism, he is a role model for the younger generations and an important representative of Slovenian alpinism.
