Jure achieved the first skiing victory for the national team of independent Slovenia and in his rich career received Olympic bronze in Lillehammer and in 15 seasons he has scored 3 victories (in slaloms in Madonna di Campiglio 1994, Kranjska Gora 1999 and Kitzb\u00fchel 1999) and 20 more World Cup podium finishes.
