The Slovenian cycling team once again showed its strength at the World Championships in Kigali. On the African roads, the Slovenian cyclists impressed with their fighting spirit and team spirit.
The greatest achievement was achieved by Tadej Pogačar. With a decisive attack, he once again proved that he belongs at the very top of the world. He won the title of world champion and once again impressed the sports public at home and abroad.
Urška Žigart also achieved an excellent result. She recorded her best time trial finish to date. Her ride showed that Slovenian women's cycling is progressing rapidly.
