Brand POC is recognised in the mountain biking world as a leading manufacturer of protective equipment that combines science-based safety, advanced technologies and uncompromising functionality. Their MTB segment covers helmets, visors, goggles and technical clothing designed for serious trail and enduro riders, as well as for anyone looking for reliable protection in everyday outdoor riding.
Brand story
POC is a Swedish company, which had a clear goal when it was founded - to reduce the risk of injury in athletes through science and innovation. Through intensive collaboration with doctors, neurologists, biomechanists and top cyclists, POC develops products that are tested to the highest safety standards while being adapted to the real conditions on the ground.

POC MTB helmets: safety with advanced technology
POC mountain bike helmets are known for their extended coverage, low weight, excellent ventilation and reliable safety systems. Key technology included in many models is MIPS (Multi-directional Impact Protection System). It is a layer inside the helmet that moves slightly on oblique impact, reducing rotational forces that can cause brain damage.
POC helmets are designed with long-term comfort and all-day use in mind. The 360° fit system allows precise adjustment without pressure points and the air channels ensure constant air circulation even when riding slowly uphill.

New POC Cularis helmet
For the 2025 season, POC launches a new helmet model for trail and all-mountain cycling - the POC Cularis. This model combines all the key features that POC helmets are known for: safety, comfort, low weight and superior design.
POC Cularis includes the following functionalities:
- MIPS system to protect the brain from rotational forces,
- EPS core for effective shock absorption,
- Extended protection in the nape and shadow area,
- a fit system that allows a precise and comfortable fit,
- optimised ventilation for long-lasting use in all conditions.
Cularis is the right choice for cyclists looking for uncompromising protection and all-day comfort on technically demanding trails.

Some other models:

VPD technology: intelligent protection for visors
POC has developed a special protective technology called VPD (Visco-Elastic Polymer Dough). It is an advanced material that is soft and flexible during movement, and hardens and absorbs energy on impact. This allows a high level of protection without restricting mobility or causing discomfort.
VPD is used for knee, elbow and back protectors. Different models are available, from lighter and more breathable (VPD Air) to more robust versions (VPD 2.0) designed for more aggressive descents. All pads are ergonomically designed and remain stable even with prolonged use, without slipping or moving during the ride.

Clarity lens glasses
Visibility is key for safe driving on forest tracks, mountain paths or open terrain. POC therefore uses Clarity lensesdeveloped in cooperation with the company Carl Zeiss. These lenses optimise contrast, improve depth perception and reduce glare, allowing better terrain assessment even in changing light conditions.
Clarity lenses are available in several variants, adapted to different lighting conditions - from sunny to cloudy days. The lenses also offer high UV protection, a hydrophobic coating against dirt and are scratch resistant.

Seamless fit: seamless compatibility of goggles and helmets
One of the key strengths of the POC brand is the so-called. seamless fit, which means a perfect fit of the POC glasses with the POC helmets. The two components - helmets and goggles - are designed in tandem, ensuring perfect integration without interference or discomfort.
Thanks to the seamless fit design:
- the glasses do not put pressure on the face or bridge of the nose,
- the frames do not obstruct the ventilation of the helmet,
- the possibility of lens rusting is reduced,
- a wide and unrestricted field of vision remains.
This integration is particularly important on long tours and descents, where the stability and comfort of the goggles determine the quality of the experience.

If cycling means more to you than just riding - if you look for confidence in every downhill, safety in every corner and a clear view of the road at every moment - then POC is your first choice.
