Last weekend, 11 and 12 October 2025, we were present at the traditional Istrian Cycling Marathon v Kopru - one of the largest recreational cycling events in Slovenia.
Like official importers, agents and distributors of the Sportful brand for Slovenia and Croatia we were happy to participate again this year as sponsor and exhibitor.

The event attracted more than 1000 cyclists and more than 100 childrenwho took part in the family part of the marathon on Saturday. Sunday was reserved for recreational and experienced cyclists, who enjoyed the varied routes of Slovenian Istria in beautiful weather and great atmosphere.

Istria Cycling Marathon - sport, nature and community

Participants could choose between three routes of different lengths and difficulty:

• Family route (10 km) - for the youngest and beginners,
• Medium route (49 km) - with an altitude difference of around 870 m,
• Long route (77 km) - with an altitude difference of about 1,360 m for the most persistent.

Cyclists enjoyed the picturesque panoramas, Istrian villages and coastal paths that created the ideal backdrop for this autumn event.
The marathon is also part of the campaign Slovenia is cycling, which connects cycling enthusiasts across the country and promotes healthy lifestyles.

Our Sportful stand and Custom line

Our Sportful stand was one of the most visited venues among visitors.
We have introduced a line of Sportful Customwhich allows each cyclist to design his or her own fully personalised cycling jersey - with a choice of colours, lettering, logos and customised patterns.

Using an interactive approach, we gave visitors the opportunity to show how they would imagine their own custom jersey. The activity attracted a lot of interest and added to the pleasant atmosphere of the event.
We wanted to highlight Sportful's quality, flexibility and authenticity, which have been appreciated by cyclists for decades.

We are very happy to have been part of the Istria Cycling Marathon reaffirming our commitment to development cycling in Slovenia and the region.
